The RAL Trendbox 2025+ material collection has received the German Design Award Gold, the highest award in the “Excellent Product Design” category in the “Material and Surfaces” area.
RAL Trendbox 2025+ receives the German Design Award Gold 2024
The interdisciplinary jury of international design experts confirmed the excellent, holistic, and innovative design performance of the RAL Trendbox 2025+. The Trendbox translates the 15-part trend color palette of the RAL Color Feeling 2025+ into a total of five design-relevant materials. In addition to the individual RAL color samples, it also contains powder-coated metal, plastic paint, carpet, and textile samples.
The color palette responds to current topics, motivates change, supports project-oriented design, and helps build resonant relationships with the environment. RAL developed the 2025+ theme with the IIT Institute International Trend Scouting at the HAWK Faculty of Design in Hildesheim, under the direction of HAWK Professor Timo Rieke, and an international design team.
