Mentoring of Men in ECEC
The aim of this international research collaboration is to foster the development of a gender-mixed work force, to support the further qualification of male practitioners, and to retain male workers in the field of ECEC. To achieve this aim, we conduct research, develop strategies and apply measures during the whole progress of vocational biographies.
An overview survey will be conducted in all countries to identify challenges relevant at specific stages of vocational careers. Different measures have already been developed for different stages of vocational paths in the participating countries during the past decade. Within the collaboration, such measures will be translated to the participating countries’ languages. Every measure shall be implemented in at least two participating countries.
Until now, the project is self-funded. It will be realized in 2025-2026.
